October 20 – 25, 2020

With the community as a priority, the 2020 imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival will be moving online, guided by Indigenous practices of gifting and reciprocity.  From October 20 – 25, 2020 – imagineNATIVE will gather with community for an online Festival, to celebrate Indigenous storytelling in film, video, audio, digital and interactive art through online programming.

Applications are now open for our Indigenous Screenwriting Intensive for Narrative Short Films, which is supported through our partnership with Netflix.

This one-of-a-kind professional development program will support Indigenous creatives from Canada in developing a short film script from concept/treatment to final draft. Application Deadline is June 26. Find out more here.
