I look forward to continuing the work we’ve done with Minister Miller as he now moves to Crown-Indigenous Relations, and I welcome the chance to collaborate with Minister Hajdu as she begins her role at Indigenous Services Canada. I also appreciate the continued efforts of Minister Vandal of Northern Affairs and his representation as the only Indigenous Cabinet member. My hope is that these individuals, and all Ministers in Cabinet, will work alongside First Nations to find a healing path forward in 2022 and beyond.”
